Sulaimon Atawewe was born into the house of Pa Afolabi and Madam Afusat in Idi Oro, Mushin before he left for Ikorodu in his eve years where he started his Fuji musical career. He moved back to Mushin after a while residing in Ikorodu. He later moved to Lagos Island where his music blossomed.

He started his music career officially in 1983 even though he had started singing since when he was around 5 years of Age. He has received over 70 awards with about 14 albums in his portfolio. He is married to Nofisat Abolore a native of Ijebu- Ode and their union is blessed with children.

He is an established Fuji Music Artist. His alias is Duke of Music.

On July 2nd, 2020 gave a thumbs up for Suleiman Atawewe’s splendid gig alongside Winter’s beautiful performance at DMV Ayan (Drummers) Celebration as both bands performed in harmony as he dazzled the crow with fuji melody.

The Ayan drummers played with predetermined percussion movement. Of course, money was set rolling and fun-lovers all attested to having a blast with steamy hot meals at KOF sports cafe.
