KOF Bringing Amazing Events In Your Sphere
KOF considers Events the Life of tradition. It is one of the few gatherings people who share common cultural interests can come together and share educating conversations. Yoruba Tribe makes a good use of this occassion as they hold parties which is a type of event at any point they have the priviledge and resources to.
Even while events have evolved in the twenty-first century, some local event styles, including stand-up comedy, remain evergreen. Stand-up comedy is a style of intimate monologue joke telling that comedians have adapted to perform to their fans on a more personal level. To make the target audience laugh, the comic walks on stage and tells a series of written and rehearsed jokes.
The humor type in stand up comedy varies, but there is no restriction to where it can be performed. From Restaurants, Bars, corporate events, and Parties, it is versatile like African cuisine. The humor ranges from observational comedy, blue comedy, dark comedy, clean comedy, and cringe comedy. Alternative stand-up comedy Comedians improvise while performing by either engaging the crowd or doing silly things to regain the interest or attention of the audience members, if by chance, they had lost it by telling jokes the audience did not consider too funny.
The use of props, such as those used in magic shows, to convey a joke is not forbidden, but most comedians rarely use them. Stand-up comedians are comedians who stand at the microphone for the duration of their event.
Laughter is healthy for the soul; it provides the soul with the same benefits as food for the body, which is why a meal is incomplete without a heartfelt laughing binge. This is a crucial truth that KOF understands and appreciates, which is why it organizes comedic shows for the enjoyment of its customers.
A KOF Stand-up Comic show, Halloween-themed “Jokes on Me,” was hosted by Cee Y, a Lagos State University Thespian Alumni who began his career in comedy while still in school. His full name is Kingsley Oba Ngus, and his brand is sophisticated, as he effortlessly pulls off hilarious sayings without using offensive or obscene language. His cartoon focuses on school experiences and diverse ethnic groupings.
Cee Y’s life story is a typical rags-to-riches one. He struggled to create waves as a comedian. His passion was initially dismissed as a joke, and money was not making its way into his wallet due to Nigerians’ penchant for free promotional performances. He was also believed to have played minor roles in films, although this did not modify the account. He is a dedicated, quiet, and focused individual. He picked Annointed Mallam, Steve Harvey, and Ali Baba as role models.
The experience left him feeling delighted and excited for his upcoming performance with Mamaafricaana, also known as ANNA MWALAGHO, which is set for Boxing Day. The fantastic Dj X-one was in charge of the music, and he did not dissapoint with his originality and taste in music.
The popularity of this event inspired him to bring a second portion of the event to KOF in February along with Musical Genius Isaac Gerald. Despite the initial belief that this performance would be one-time only, it has gradually grown into a monthly event that takes place on the last Thursday.
He is available for collaborations and bookings on his Facebook page, which is filled with different and refreshing skits. His Instagram Profile contains pictures of his shows, pictures and videos, which show how much he has grown and his spirit of gratitude to God.
Here is an extract of the rib cracking performance. Tickets to his show and other comic events held at KOF can be purchased on the Eventbrite page.
